How It Works

TJC Group Medical and Dental helps Australians and New Zealanders explore dental, medical, cosmetic and wellness treatment options in Bali and Indonesia through a clear, structured and supportive enquiry process.
The purpose of this process is to help guests understand their options, prepare properly, ask the right questions and connect with suitable provider pathways where appropriate.
TJC Group does not provide medical, dental or surgical advice. It does not diagnose, prescribe, recommend a specific treatment, guarantee outcomes or make clinical decisions. Final assessment, treatment planning, pricing, consent and clinical care always remain between the guest and the treating clinic, hospital, dentist, surgeon or healthcare professional.

Step 1
Initial Enquiry

The process begins when a guest submits an enquiry to TJC Group.

This may relate to dental treatment, plastic or reconstructive surgery, cosmetic medicine, dermatology, women’s health, hair restoration, wellness or preventative healthcare.

The enquiry form helps gather the basic information needed to understand what the guest is considering, including treatment goals, current concerns, preferred travel dates and any relevant documents such as photographs, X-rays, previous quotes, treatment plans or medical information.

This first step is designed to make the process simple, organised and easy to understand from the beginning.

Step 2
Information Review

Once the enquiry is received, TJC Group reviews the information provided to understand the general nature of the request.

This review is not a clinical assessment. It is an information review to help identify the most appropriate pathway for the guest.

For example, a dental enquiry may involve crowns, implants, veneers, dentures or complex full-mouth rehabilitation. A cosmetic or surgical enquiry may require consideration of whether a hospital-based provider, specialist surgeon or aesthetic clinic is likely to be the more appropriate starting point.

The purpose of this stage is to help ensure the guest is directed towards the right type of provider, rather than relying on guesswork, social media recommendations or price alone.

Step 3
Suitable Provider Pathway Identified

After reviewing the enquiry, TJC Group considers which provider pathway may be suitable.

This may involve a dental clinic, hospital, specialist surgeon, cosmetic medicine provider, dermatologist, women’s health provider, wellness clinic or another relevant healthcare service.

The pathway depends on the guest’s treatment goals, the complexity of the request, the likely level of clinical support required, and the type of provider best suited to assess the matter properly.

At this stage, TJC Group’s role is to help guide the guest towards an appropriate starting point. Suitability for treatment itself can only be confirmed by the treating healthcare provider.

Step 4
Introduction to the Provider

Where appropriate, TJC Group can introduce the guest to a selected hospital, clinic, treatment coordinator or healthcare provider.

This introduction helps create a clearer communication pathway between the guest and the provider.

The provider may then request further information, photographs, X-rays, medical history, previous treatment notes or other documents to assist with their own assessment process.

TJC Group’s role is to support the introduction and help the guest understand the process. The treating provider remains responsible for all clinical advice, recommendations and decisions.

Step 5
Clinical Assessment by the Provider

The clinical assessment is completed directly by the treating provider.

This may involve reviewing photographs, X-rays, scans, medical history, dental records, previous quotes or other relevant information. In many cases, a final treatment plan cannot be confirmed until the guest has been examined in person.

This is especially important for dental implants, full-mouth rehabilitation, plastic surgery, reconstructive procedures, dermatology, injectables, women’s health treatments and any procedure involving anaesthetic, surgery, recovery time or medical risk.

TJC Group does not assess clinical suitability. That responsibility sits entirely with the qualified treating clinician or healthcare provider.

Step 6
Treatment Planning and Quote

Once the provider has reviewed the guest’s information, they may provide an initial treatment pathway, estimated pricing, proposed timeframe or further recommendations.

Any quote, treatment plan, risk explanation, recovery advice or suitability assessment must come directly from the treating provider.

Guests are encouraged to ask clear questions before making any decision, including:

  • What qualifications does the treating clinician hold?
  • Who will perform the treatment?
  • Where will the treatment take place?
  • What are the risks and possible complications?
  • What is included in the quote?
  • What follow-up is provided?
  • What happens if further treatment is required?
  • How much recovery time is needed before flying home?

The goal is to help guests make informed decisions based on proper clinical information, realistic expectations and clear communication.

Step 7
Travel and Treatment

Once the guest has received information directly from the provider, they can decide whether to proceed with travel and treatment.

This decision should be made carefully, taking into account treatment complexity, recovery time, accommodation, support person needs, travel insurance, aftercare, medication requirements, mobility, follow-up appointments and any possible complications.

TJC Group encourages guests not to rush major healthcare decisions or travel for treatment without understanding the process properly.

Treatment is arranged and carried out directly by the provider. The clinical relationship is between the guest and the treating clinic, hospital, dentist, surgeon or healthcare professional.

Step 8
Follow-Up

After treatment, guests should follow the aftercare instructions provided by their treating provider.

Any clinical concerns, complications, pain, healing issues, medication questions or follow-up requirements must be directed to the treating provider.

TJC Group may remain part of the broader communication pathway where appropriate, but it does not replace clinical follow-up or emergency medical care.

Guests should always seek urgent medical attention if they experience symptoms that require immediate care.

Important Boundaries

TJC Group Medical and Dental provides healthcare education, general guidance and provider introduction services.

TJC Group does not:

  • diagnose medical, dental or surgical conditions;
  • provide medical, dental or surgical advice;
  • prescribe treatment;
  • provide clinical opinions;
  • guarantee treatment outcomes;
  • guarantee prices;
  • replace consultation with a qualified healthcare professional;
  • make decisions on behalf of the guest or provider.

All final decisions about diagnosis, treatment suitability, treatment planning, pricing, consent, risks, recovery and aftercare must be made directly between the guest and the treating healthcare provider.

Our Role

TJC Group’s role is to help guests feel better informed, better prepared and more confident when exploring treatment options in Bali and Indonesia.

The process is designed to reduce confusion, improve communication and help guests approach healthcare decisions with greater clarity.

The focus is always on education, transparency, realistic expectations and ethical provider relationships.

TJC Group exists to help guests feel guided and supported — not pressured or sold to.
